We use a wide-range of upholstery fabrics in our bags. Fabrics vary in durability and how they should be cared for. We include a card in each bag that includes fabric content and cleaning codes (if known). Because each individual bag may be composed of fabrics with different cleaning codes, we do not tack the lining to the bottom or sides of the bag. While this makes for a slightly baggier lining, it allows you to pull the lining out away from the body to clean separately if needed.

Avoid over cleaning your bag and do not saturate your bag with cleaner. Spot clean as needed using the correct type of cleaner for your fabric. Always spot test cleaning agents on an unnoticeable area of bag before using (for difficult to clean fabrics, we try to include a small cutting of the fabric with your bag for this purpose whenever possible).

Most fabrics can be brushed with dry brush to remove light soil.Velvets and other pile fabrics will need to be brushed after cleaning to return fullness. Always blot spills to avoid rubbing spills deeper into the fabric. If you are unsure how to clean your bag, please consult with a professional cleaner.

Storage: Never store your bag inside plastic or vinyl. Use breathable cotton or linen dust bags if storing for long periods of time. Make sure your bag is clean before stored!

Unpacking your bag: Our bags are sometimes rolled or folded for shipping. Give your bag a good shake out when you receive it to fluff out and resume shape. For outdoor mesh bags, bottoms can reshaped by hand.

Leather belt straps/handles: clean regularly with leather cleaner and follow with leather conditioner to keep your handles stain-free and supple.

D Dry Clean Only

S Clean with pure solvent-based cleaners only. Do not use water-based or detergent based cleaning agents.

W Clean with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agents. Do not use solvent-based cleaners.

W/S May be cleaned with either solvent-based or water-based cleaners

Waxed Canvas: our waxed canvas is waxed by hand in Texas with local beeswax. It will soften and develop a beautiful distressed patina over time. Clean with damp cloth or soft brush. Do not use soap and do not dry clean.

Brisa/Ultraleather: blot spills as soon as they occur. Clean with soap and water or alcohol-based cleaners. Stubborn stains can be wiped off with isopropyl alcohol. Rinse any cleaning solution off thoroughly and air dry.

Sunbrella: blot spills, use mild cleaning solution or mild soap/water. Rinse any cleaning solution off thoroughly and air dry.

Aniline Leather/Suede/Nubuck: blot spills immediately, use soft dry brush to remove surface dirt. Professional cleaning recommended for deep stains. Expect some natural distressing to develop over time on this type of unprotected leather.

Protected Aniline Leather: Blot spills immediately and wipe with distilled water.

Semi-Aniline Leather: Blot spills immediately, leather cleaner and conditioner should be used according to product directions.
